I'm unable to receive MMS messages from some people. I'm using an unlocked Moto Z Play and the stock/standard Google Messages App on Android 6 Marshmallow and just upgraded to Android 7 Nougat. Still having the problem. It tells me I have received a message, but it says "unable to download, touch to try again.". I am currently using Android Messages (the default messaging app) on Verizon and when I am in a group text message group, I'll sometimes get a separate notification of an MMS downloading. Sometimes the text doesn't appear in the group chat and just goes to a individual message and doesn't download. I am not able to receive MMS messages from non-Signal users. The behavior is the same regardless of whether I have 'WiFi Calling' compatibility mode turned on/off in the Signal settings and the outcome is also the same regardless of whether I am connected only to WiFi or only to mobile data (LTE).

I have factory reset my phone, ensured that the MMS auto download is on, the service center flashed the phone, and I have done all the things. When I am in a group text, I will recieve some of the texts but then some of them will not download.
