After selecting your resource set, tick the box to Automatically download new resources if you would like Logos to automatically download any new resources you add to your Library in the future. Step 4 - Download and Index. Logos will download a chunk of your Library and open to the Home Page. It will continue downloading the rest of the library after it opens. Once the download process is finished, it will index what has been downloaded. The whole process may take a number of hours depending on the Library, and computer specifications. Windows These instructions are for Microsoft Windows. By default Logos installs in a hidden sub-folder of your User folder. Many people ask how they can install Logos somewhere else, either a different folder or even a different drive because their C: drive doesn’t have room for all the resources. For an estimate of disk space, add 50% to the stated Library download size e.g. a GB download plus GB (50%) = GB disk space. Why is the required disk space so large? Logos has to store your Resources Documents together with datasets images for many of its features, and it builds a large Index which makes Logos’ search speed.
